The Top 5 Movies Left To See In 2014

2014 has been a BIG year for cinema! I mean we've had Godzilla, Annabelle, Maleficent, The Lego Movie, Robocop, Transcendence, and that's not even bringing up Marvel dropping 4 blockbusters this year.  With so many movies, it's pretty hard to imagine that there could be anymore movies worth seeing for the year. But, there is! There are some pretty wicked movies coming our way before we enter the year of the 5's (get it? Both 20 and 15 are divisible by 5. Huh?). Note that this will be Spoiler Free. I will only be posting about is what's shown in the trailers and the synopsis that's posted on IMDb.com. So, here's the newest post:

The Top 5 Movies Still To Come Out In 2014

5) Horns. This is the newest Harry Potter movie, - Uhm, I mean the newest movie from Harry Potter himself Daniel Radcliffe. Horns is a new dramatic thriller where Radcliffe's character is accused of killing his girlfriend, and as he denies the accusations, he literally grows horns. Now, that isn't a spoiler at all. The trailers and synopsis that I've seen/read never says if Radcliffe is the murderer or not. This movie looks great! It's not my favorite movie coming out, but I still definitely want to see. It has drama, dark elements, mystery, and some moments of comedy relief. It has it all, and it comes out October 31st.

4)  Dracula Untold. This movie is about the origins of how Dracula became, spoilers, Dracula! Luke Evans helms the lead role if Dracula, and he's also in another movie on this list. I'm a sucker for vampire movies, especially Dracula movies. It looks like (from the trailer) it's going to have a lot of emotions within the film, showing the struggle that Vlad Tepes (Dracula) has with his decision to become Dracula, and how it affects his family and kingdom. Also it's going to have lots of violence and gore and death. Count me in! Look for it in theaters Tomorrow! October 10.

3) Into The Woods. One of the movies that've come out this year was Maleficent, a live-action twist to a classic Disney Tale (and fairytale in general, which will be the focus of an upcoming post, Whoot Whoot 😛). In the new movie Into the Woods, we see yet another live-action twist on Disney and Fairy Tales (which just seems to be another in a long line of films coming from Disney with this Trend). This movie combined several classic stories, including Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, and more. What's probably the biggest reason to go see this new movie is the cast: Johnny Depp, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine, Meryl Streep, James Corden (the new upcoming host of the Late Late Show, currently with Colin Fergusson), Emily Blunt, and Much Much more! Into the Woods will be enchanting your screens on Christmas Day.

2) Big Hero 6. This movie is the newest adventure from Disney! From the people who brought us Frozen and Wreck-It Ralph comes Big Hero 6: (straight from IMDb.com) "an action-packed comedy-adventure about the special bond that develops between Baymax, a plus-sized inflatable robot, and prodigy Hiro Hamada. When a devastating event befalls the city of San Fransokyo and catapults Hiro into the midst of danger, he turns to Baymax and his close friends adrenaline junkie Go Go Tomago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. Determined to uncover the mystery, Hiro transforms his friends into a band of high-tech heroes called 'Big Hero 6'." Now there're a couple of reasons why I'm so excited for the movie. Number one it's DISNEY! As stated in previous posts, I have Obsessive Disney Disorder. It seems like everything Disney makes turns to gold, and I Love it. Number 2 this film is actually based of off Marvel Comics' Big Hero 6, so in essence, This is a 5th Marvel Movie this year!! Hiro, Baymax, and the rest of the Big Hero 6 team will be flying in to save the day on November 7.

& finally, the movie that EVERYBODY is waiting to see in 2014

1) The Hobbit: Battle of the 5 Armies. The Hobbit trilogy has been without a doubt the biggest most anticipated movie the last 3 years! The Hobbit: Battle of the 5 Armies is the last installment of this Prequel Trilogy to the LEGENDARY Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Now I promised no spoilers, so I can't share anything about the film because that would spoil the other two movies for fans who haven't gotten to see them yet. However, fans who have kept up with the films know Exactly what to expect from this movie. It also has an Amazing cast, including Lee Pace (Ronan the Destroyer from Guardians of the Galaxy), Ian McKellan, Martin Freeman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Evangeline Lily, Orlando Bloom, Hugo Weaving, Luke Evans (told you Dracula would make another appearance in this list) and so SO many more. The battle of the quintuplet militia commences on December 17.

So that's my list! I had to hurry and finish this list Today (October 9) for this to still be accurate. What're your thoughts? Anything I left off (Sorry, I'm just not that big of a Hunger Games Fan)? Anything you disagree with? Let me know in the comments below. And as always, true Geekery will always shine the brightest!
